Community Update: Eurogamer, FIFA 13 and GT5

Hey everyone, welcome once again to my weekly update about what’s new and awesome over on the Official PlayStation Forums!

Did you go to Eurogamer Exhibition last weekend? We know someone who did: the community team’s mascot, Sackboy! I took him along on a Eurogamer adventure to meet the PlayStation community and to join in the gaming fun. He certainly enjoyed himself by the looks of the photos taken of him in this thread and even ended up on the latest PlayStation Access video. Did you spot him in it?

Last week we mentioned how much buzz there is in the PlayStation Forum community around the releases of FIFA 13 and PES 2013. Well, now we are offering you a chance to join in the fun by giving away a copy of FIFA 13 to one lucky winner. All you need to do is go to the competition thread found in the Football games board and post your PSN ID to enter the prize draw. Good luck!

This week we also started our brand new quest to find the PlayStation community’s game of the month. We place all the months’ releases up for voting and let the community decide the result. We plan to use all the winning games for each month and put them up against one another to find the game of the year! Make sure you join in and cast your own vote.

We are really gearing up and getting active in the Racing Forum lately and the result is yet another event starting up. In fact we have two brand new Gran Turismo events. We’ve started the GT5 Arcade Time Trials if you think you can out pace your fellow racers, and we have also opened up entry for our Gran Turismo Go Karting league. If these events sound interesting to you, then be sure to pop along to our Gran Turismo board and get involved! Everyone is welcome.
