Compulsion Games объявила о переносе даты выхода симулятора выживания в открытом мире We Happy Few с 13 апреля на лето. Это связано с финальной полировкой повествования. По словам продюсера Сэма Эббота начало истории не соответствует остальной части игры, его необходимо доработать.
 
Также владельцы игры могут вернуть незавершённый продукт, независимо от количества проведённого в нём времени. С первого февраля игра будет недоступна в Steam, возможность приобретения появится ближе к релизу.
