Компания Capcom сообщила, что поставила в торговые сети по всему миру 5 миллионов копий боевой ролевой игры Monster Hunter World. Данная цифра включает в себя также продажи цифровой версии проекта.

До выхода Monster Hunter World самой успешной частью серии являлась Monster Hunter Portable 3rd для PSP, поставки которой за всё время пребывания игры на рынке достигли отметки в 4,9 миллионов копий.
 
Monster Hunter World сейчас доступна на PS4 и Xbox One. Средний балл игры равняется 91/100 (49 обзоров) по данным Metacritic. Релиз РС-версии ожидается осенью этого года.
