21 мая на PC, PS4, Xbox One и Switch выходит аркадная гоночная игра Team Racing Sonic от Sumo Digital и Sega. После 39 оценок изданий средняя оценка составляет 73/100. Рецензенты называют игру лучшим спин-оффом серии. 
 
  • Хорошо: отличное ощущение скорости и управляемость автомобилем, много симпатичных трасс, интересное командное взаимодействие.
  • Плохо: слабый сюжет и его подача, проблемы с производительностью (особенно на консолях). 
Журналисты утверждают, что новинка от Sega, практически, во всём проигрывает Mario Kart 8. Но стоит учитывать, что последняя – эксклюзив Nintendo.
