Демоверсия Heavy Rain сейчас доступна в сервисе Epic Games Store, однако ее запуск не обошелся без небольшого скандала. Первые пользователи не смогли запустить ознакомительную версию, из-за встроенной защиты Denuvo.  Команда Quantic Dream быстро отреагировала на негативные отзывы и убрала демоверсию вплоть до решения проблемы. 
 
Команде Дэвида Кейджа потребовалось 15 часов, чтобы найти и исправить недоработку.

Демоверсия Heavy Rain сейчас доступна в Epic Games Store. Сама игра стоит 279 грн. Там же сейчас можно предзаказать другие игры компании: Detroit: Become Human (269 грн) и Beyond: Two Souls (279 грн). Выход всех трех игр ожидается летом 2019 года.
