Компания Nvidia опубликовала в Steam минимальные системные требования Quake 2 RTX.

Операционная система: Windows 7 64-битная версия
Процессор: Intel i3-3220 или аналогичный от AMD
Оперативная память: 8 ГБ
Видеокарта: Nvidia RTX 2060 или лучше
Свободное место на жёстком диске: 2 ГБ
 
Проект создан на основе модификации Q2VKPT и предлагает поддержку трассировки лучей в реальном времени.
 
Quake 2 RTX появится в Steam 6 июня этого года. Все желающие смогут скачать бесплатную версию с тремя уровнями.
