Компания Konami анонсировала новую версию консоли TurboGrafx-16 Mini. В консоли два USB-порта для контроллеров и поддержка многопоточного адаптера. 
 

На данный момент рассказали о шести играх для системы, которая будет выпущена в Японии под названием PC Engine Mini, а в Европе - PC Engine Core Grafx:
 
  • R-Type
  • New Adventure Island
  • Ninja Spirit
  • Ys Book I & II
  • Dungeon Explorer
  • Alien Crush
Игры в разных версиях консоли различаются, к примеру, в PC Engine Mini присутствует классика Castlevania  - Dracula X: Rondo of Blood.
 
Оригинальная консоль разработана Hudson, изготовлена NEC, появилась в Японии в 1987 году, а в США под названием TurboGrafx-16 – в 1989-ом, где не пользовалась особой популярностью. В 2011 году Hudson стала дочерней компанией Konami. Информации о точном количестве игр, цене и дате выхода пока нет.
