Студия CD Projekt Red обещала, что покажет новый игровой процесс Cyberpunk 2077 на ближайшем Gamescom, который пройдёт с 20 по 24 августа. Однако менеджер по связям с общественностью Марцин Момот сообщил в твиттере, что фанатам придётся подождать.

С 30 августа по 3 сентября пройдёт выставка PAX West, на которой сообщество и познакомят с новым роликом. Причина переноса не называется. Напомним, что игровой процесс показали группе журналистов за закрытыми дверями  и посетителям E3 2019.
 
В прошлом году демонстрацию игры провели после Gamescom.
