Не исключено, что проект Doom 64, вышедший в 1997 году на консоли Nintendo 64, появится на РС и PS4.

Упоминание о Doom 64 для РС и PS4 промелькнуло на сайте организации PEGI, которая отвечает за выставление возрастных рейтингов играм в Европе.
 
Doom 64 не является портом или переизданием какой-либо части серии. Это самостоятельный проект, разработкой которого занималась компания Midway Games. Действие Doom 64 разворачивается после событий, описанных в Doom 2.
