Об Exception впервые рассказали в июне и, оказалось, что ждать премьеры многообещающего платформера придётся недолго.

Действие игры происходит внутри компьютера, в котором завёлся вирус. Игрок становился боевой машиной, оказывающей сопротивление «брутальному режиму». Особенностью игры являются эстетика фильма «Трон» и трансформирующиеся уровни-головоломки.
 
Игровой процесс вдохновлен классическими платформерами, Ninja Gaiden и классическими играми серии Castlevania.
 

Exception выходит 13 августа на PC, PS4, Xbox One и Switch.
