Компания Wizards of the Coast во время Gamescom объявила, что условно-бесплатная цифровая карточная игра Magic The Gathering Arena зимой появится в магазине Epic Games store. Разработчики уточняют, что игра всё так же будет доступна для скачивания на официальном сайте, а первой PC-платформой станет магазин Epic. Не исключено, что в будущем проект появится и в других магазинах.

После релиза в Epic Games store запланирован выхода Mac-версии игры.
