После череды переносов студия Daybreak Games определилась с датой начала раннего доступа в Steam сетевого боевика PlanetSide Arena – 19 сентября. Выход полной версии, включая консольные релизы на PS4 и Xbox One, состоится ориентировочно во втором квартале 2020 года.

Также стало известно, что анонсированный режим 250-на-250 отменён, вместо него на старте будут доступны сражения с участием 300 игроков. Вместе с релизом полной версии обещан режим Massive Clash с поддержкой тысячи игроков.
