Capcom после анонса ремейка Resident Evil 3 на официальном сайте рассказала об успехах франшизы.

  • Совокупные продажи всех игр хоррор-серии за 23 года составили 94 млн. копий. 
  • Оригинальная Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, которая выходила в 1999 году, была продана тиражом в 3,5 млн. копий. В ремейке используется собственный движок RE. 
  • Продажи ремейка Resident Evil 2 превысили 5 млн. копий и превзошли продажи оригинала 1998 года. Игра удостоена высшей награды Ultimate Game of the Year на мероприятии UK Golden Joystick Awards 2019.
Ремейк Resident Evil 3 выходит 3 апреля 2020 года на PC, PS4 и Xbox One.
