Heavy Metal Machines вышла на ПК в 2018 году и только теперь владельцы PS4 и PS5 могут присоединиться к автомобильному беспределу в условно-бесплатной игре.

Проект уже запущен в PlayStation Store. Основной способ заработка – микротранзакции.

В игре студии Hoplon предусмотрены стычки вооруженных автомобилей в жанре MOBA, а основной источник вдохновения - Rock'n'Roll Racing (SNES и Megadrive) от Interplay. Создатели также подсмотрели стилистику Rocket League и Twisted Metal. Основная задача команды в Heavy Metal Machines - доставить бомбу на базу противника.

В Steam у игры 74% положительных обзоров. Те, кто войдут на серверы до 8 марта, получат в подарок боевой пропуск на 3-й сезон.
