В рамках выставки Е3 2003 компания Valve представила техническое демо шутера Half-Life 2 на движке Source

Тогда «лицом» презентации стал G-Man – знаменитый и таинственный персонаж с чёрным чемоданчиком. G-Man появился в кадре и продемонстрировал выдающуюся по меркам тех времён лицевую анимацию.

Спустя 18 лет, аниматор Кори Лэддо воссоздал выступление G-Man на движке Source 2, который используется в VR-проекте Half-Life: Alyx. 

Стоит отметить, что революционного скачка в графике не наблюдается, хотя новая модель G-Man выглядит более детализировано и чётче.
