Electronic Arts і студія Motive показали ігровий процес оновленої Dead Space. Судячи з відео, розробники не злукавили і відтворили класичний хорор з нуля.

Нагадаємо, ремейк зберігає основу оригіналу — інженер Айзек Кларк блукає закинутим судном «Ішимура» і вбиває чудовиськ, відсікаючи їм кінцівки за допомогою далекобійного різака. Графіка і звук при цьому свіжі, також заявлені зміни в сюжеті - наприклад, Айзек отримав дар мови.

Dead Space переродиться 27 січня 2023 на ПК (Steam, Epic Games Store, Origin), PlayStation 5 і Xbox Series. 

Збір попереднього замовлення вже відкритий. Доступні два комплекти - стандартний і Deluxe, що містить основну гру, три унікальні скафандри і дві текстури для нього.
