Ще наприкінці 2021 року автори Super Meat Boy Forever обіцяли незабаром випустити гру на iOS та Android. Як виявилося, скоро — це 20 квітня 2023-го.

На відміну від оригіналу, Super Meat Boy Forever – це не повноцінний платформер, а раннер. Сюжет нехитрий: Лікар Зародок викрав малу М'ясного хлопця і Пластир-дівчинки, а вам треба її врятувати.

Super Meat Boy Forever отримала 66/100 на OpenCritic та 54% позитивних оглядів у Steam. Здебільшого гру лають за зміну жанру — після хардкорної першої частини «автораннер» багатьом здається глузуванням з серії.

Історію Super Meat Boy Forever продовжать у свіжоанонсованій Dr. Fetus' Mean Meat Machine - гібриді платформера і головоломки "чотири в ряд".
