Компанія Square Enix оголосила про укладання стратегічного партнерства з платформою Elixir Games, яка займається розповсюдженням ігор з технологією блокчейн та web3.

Видавець і раніше фінансував діяльність майданчика, але нова угода має вивести співпрацю на новий рівень. Square Enix хоче підвищити впізнаваність web3-ігор для ПК та їх затребуваність серед традиційних геймерів.

Розпочати масове впровадження технологій планується вже 2023 року. Раніше Square Enix заявляла, що планує розпочати розробку власних ігор з NFT та блокчейном.
