Команда Steel Wool Studios, відповідальна за Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach і деякі інші ігри за FNaF, представила наступну частину франшизи. Нею стане Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic.

Поки що деталей про проект кіт наплакав. В описі трейлера розміщена така фраза: "Щоб побачити майбутнє, іноді варто усвідомити минуле. Абсолютно новий кошмар у всесвіті Five Nights at Freddy's!" Схоже, на шанувальників чекає приквел. На це натякає і цифра 1979, що промайнула в кадрі і може вказувати на рік, у який розгорнеться дія гри, - 1979.

Вихід Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic заплановано на 2025 рік. Список платформ ще не опублікували.
