Исполнительный директор компании Microsoft, Стив Баллмер(Steve Ballmer) подтвердил, что Microsoft выпустят Windows 8 в следующем году.

Выступая на пресс-конференции в Токио, Баллмер подтвердил, что новая операционная система будет оптимизирована для графических планшетов и устройств, персональных компьютеров и "различных форм-факторов".

Ранее утверждалось о том, что выход Windows 8 станет мощным продвижением в развитии PC-игр и игры будут ключевым компонентом для всей операционной системы,

"Мы, уже работаем над следующей версией Windows," сказал Баллмер. " В этом году Microsoft рассчитывают продать более 350 миллионов копий Windows 7. Мы сделали много нововведений в Windows 7, чтобы повысить удовлетворенность клиентов".
