Если верить словам Марка Рейна, вице-президента Epic Games, технология Unreal Engine 4 будет представлена в 2012 году.

"Публика будет шокирована, когда в этом году мы покажем Unreal Engine 4".

Кроме того, на выставке DICE один из представителей компании упомянул, что сотрудники Epic уже ведут работу с некоей "консолью нового поколения, о которой сотрудникам пока не разрешено говорить".

Учитывая, что мероприятие проходит до сих пор, вполне вероятно, что больше информации об обновленном движке мы увидим в ближайшее время.
