SEGA в настоящее время работает над HD-ремейками Yakuza 1 и Yakuza 2; эта информация была взята с официального сайта, однако позже все записи были удалены.

Таким образом, мы можем рассчитывать на HD версии Yakuza 1, который вышел в 2006, и Yakuza 2, который вышел через два года.

Как и во всех HD-ремейках, будет улучшенная графика, поддержка трофеев, и возможно наличие 3D-режима.

Релиз запланирован на 2012 год, в Японии.
