Спорная и всеми критикуемая возможность использование универсальных патронов, скорее всего, не будет в финальной версии Dead Space 3. Эта новость была обнаружена в превью на сайте Rock Paper Shotgun.

Адам Смит (автор превью) написал в своей статье: "... универсальные патроны, которые появились в демонстрационном видео, а также в ранней версии игры, в которую я играл, является прототипом и будут отсутствовать в финальной версий.

Dead Space 3 выйдет в феврале 2013 года на PC, Xbox 360 и PS3.
