The new football season is still weeks away, but that hasn’t stopped Konami‘s titanic footy sim Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 getting the jump on rival FIFA and sneaking into the Game of the Week slot on Access TV Episode 44, available from the PlayStation Store right now. Check it out for brand new PES 2013 gameplay footage, including the all new manual passing and shooting system.

In Access All Areas there’s coverage from Silverstone as 18 remaining competitors battle it out in the GT Academy UK National Finals. Current champion Jann Mardenborough was on hand to lend some much needed guidance and moral support, as well as race the Access TV crew on Gran Turismo 5. He won.

Keeping things speedy, there’s also a behind-the-scenes look at upcoming racing sim F1 2012, as Access TV visits the headquarters of Codemasters Racing. There are interviews with developers Steve Hood and Paul Jeal, as well as footage from the game itself.

That’s in addition to all the latest PS3 news and PlayStation Store content, so download and enjoy!

Access TV is available on the PlayStation Store every Wednesday, free to download for all UK PSN users.

Don’t forget – we’ve got more competitions than you can shake a trophy at going on right now,

, a trip to LA and WWE SummerSlam, and tickets to the premiere of The Expendables 2.
