Today we can share with you a video of the God of War: Ascension panel that took place at last week’s Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) in Seattle.

Game Director Todd Papy, Lead Game Designer Mark Simon, Principal Character Artist Patrick Murphy and the award-winning writer behind the God of War series, Marianne Krawczyk discussed the origins of GoW: Ascension and provided a never-before-seen look at the evolution of Kratos.


We can also unveil a brand new enemy that Kratos will face in GoW: Ascension. As Kratos seeks to break the blood oath to Olympus that has bound him to Ares, he draws the unwelcome attention of the Furies, three vengeful deities who are hellbent on tracking him down for slaughter.
