, которое было заявлено для Японии. Чуть позже Team Ninja сообщила детали о выпуске этой версии в США и Европе.

На Западе условно бесплатная версия игры получит название Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate Core Fighters и выйдет эксклюзивно в PlayStation Store. Издание будет включать четырех играбельных персонажей: Kasumi, Ayane, Hayate и Ryu Hayabusa, а также полный набор оффлайновых и онлайновых режимов, кроме сюжетного. За дополнительных персонажей нужно будет платить по 4 доллара, за сюжетный режим - $15.
