Продюсер приключенческого экшена Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Дэвид Кокс (David Cox) заявил, что после этой игры разработчики переключатся на что-то совершенно новое, потому как им больше нечего сказать о серии Castlevania.
«Я считаю, если у вас есть, что сказать, не молчите, но если нет - просто заткнитесь. После выхода Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 серией пора будет заняться кому-то другому, а нам нужно будет переключиться на что-то совершенно новое».
О том, что Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 завершит историю, начатую в Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, и что триквела мы не увидим, Кокс заявил еще год назад. Теперь же мы знаем, что MercurySteam не думает ни о приквеле, ни о спин-оффе серии.
Выход Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 ожидается в конце года.
