Создатели таких игр, как Critter Crunch, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP и Super TIME Force в данный момент занимаются разработкой проекта Below.

Игра была анонсирована на пресс-конфереции Microsoft в рамках Е3 2013. Вице-президент Microsoft Studios Фил Спенсер (Phil Spencer) вышел на сцену в футболке с логтоипом студии Capybara Games и заявил, что они делают эксклюзивный проект для Xbox One. Как выяснилось, эксклюзивность будет временной.

«Как и многие игры, показанные на Е3, Below изначально появится на Xbox One, - объяснил представитель Capybara Games. - Через какое-то время мы сможем выпустить игру на любых платформах. Так было задумано изначально». Edited by Father (see edit history)
