Компания Valve сообщила о том, что уже завтра начнется рассылка Steam Machine и Steam Controller 300 пользователям Steam, которые получат в своем профиле Steam Community соответствующий бейдж бета-тестера.

Помимо этого, тестеры получат в подарок различные игры, которые работают нативно на SteamOS. К сожалению, Valve подтвердила, что бета-тестеры были отобраны исключительно среди жителей США. Valve извинилась перед жителями остальных стран, заявив, что в противном случае начало бета-теста и запуск Steam Machine пришлось бы перенести.
