На грядущей Game Developers Conference, которая пройдет в марте этого года в Сан-Франциско, бывший глава Sony Computer Entertainment Кен Кутараги (Ken Kutaragi) получит давно заслуженную награду Lifetime Achievement Award.

 

Несмотря на то, что за Кутараги закрепилось прозвище «отец PlayStation», начинал свой путь в игровой индустрии он в Nintendo, где работал над звуковым чипом для Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

Награду Кутараги вручит глава команды разработчиков PlayStation 4 Марк Серни (Mark Cerny), а церемонию будет вести менеджер по связям с общественностью студии Respawn Эбби Хеппе (Abbie Heppe).
