Компания AMD опубликовала бета-версию драйверов Catalyst 14.1, которые позволяют использовать новый интерфейс программирования приложений (API) Mantle, созданный AMD.

По словам представителей AMD, с этими драйверами владельцы R9 290 могут расчитывать на повышение производительности в Battlefield 4 до 45% при использовании Mantle (по сравнению с DirectX), а производительность техно-демо

На слабых процах с 290х видяхой  прирост почти двухкатный А если i5 или i7 то толку никакого
