Напомним, компания Epic Games сообщила на днях о том, что современный графический движок Unreal Engine 4 теперь доступен для бесплатной загрузки всем желающим.

 

Если вы будете заниматься Unreal Engine 4 в свое удовольствие, то Epic не потребует с вас ни копейки. Если же вы выпустите коммерческий продукт на базе Unreal Engine 4, то должны будете платить по 5% от продаж после достижения суммы в $3 тыс., выплаты необходимо будет производить раз в квартал.

 

В связи с этим Epic выпустила короткометражный фильм со слоганом If you live something set it free. Весь ролик рендерился в реальном времени с частотой 30 кадров в секунду.
