В конце февраля было выпущено очередное игровое дополнение для Minecraft, которое добавило в игру персонажей из знаменитого шоу «Симпсоны» (The Simpsons), среди которых Гомер, Мардж, Барт, Лиза, Мэгги и еще 19 учащихся начальной школы Спрингфилда.

Пользователь Bearly Regal использовал этих персонажей, чтобы воссоздать в игре заставку знаменитого сериала The Simpsons.
