Компания Nintendo официально опровергла слух о том, что пока не анонсированная консоль Nintendo NX будет использовать операционную систему Android. В разговоре с изданием Wall Street Journal представитель Nintendo заявил: «Сообщение, в котором утверждается, что мы планируем использовать Android для NX, не являются правдой».
 
Ранее СЕО Nintendo Сатору Ивата говорил, что компания продемонстрирует NX только в 2016 году. На Е3 2015 анонса, касательно этой игровой системы, не будет, как не будет и мобильных игр от Nintendo на выставке
