Компания Sony в ходе сегодняшней пресс-конференции сообщила о том, что рабочее название шлема виртуальной реальности Project Morpheus осталось в прошлом. Теперь устройство носит громкое название PlayStation VR.

Характеристики PlayStation VR:

  • Дисплей - OLED, 5,7", 1920хRGBх1080 (960хRGBх1080 на каждый глаз)
  • Частота обновления - 120 Гц, 90 Гц
  • Угол обзора - около 100 градусов
  • Сенсоры - акселерометр, гироскоп
  • Подключения - HDMI + USB
  • Функции - 3D-аудио и социальный экран

На этой неделе посетителям Tokyo Gmae Show 2015 позволит опробовать различные игры и техно-демо для PlayStation VR, включая Danganronpa VR, Final Fantasy XIV Online, Hatsune Miku: VR Tech Demo, RIGS: Machine Combat League, Dynasty Warriors 8: VR Demo, Kitchen, The Playroom VR, Joysund VR и Summer Lesson.

Выход PlayStation VR ожидается в следующем году.
