Напомним, серия платформеров Wonder Boy берет свое начало на аркадных автоматах в 1986 году, последняя часть, которая получила название Monster World IV, поступила в продажу в 1994 году.
 
В начале 2015 года было объявлено о том, что компания Game Atelier занимается разработкой продолжения данной серии, в создании которой принимает участие автор серии Рюичи Нишизава (Ryuichi Nishizawa). Проект создается под названием Monster Boy And The Cursed Kingdom.
 
А вчера коллектив Lizardcube сообщил о разработке ремейка оригинальной игры Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap, выпущенной в 1989 году. И, стоит признать, выглядит ремейк очень здорово.
 
 
Даты выхода у Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap (ремейк лишился римской III в названии)  пока нет.
