Глава маркетингового отдела Xbox Аарон Гринберг (Aaron Greenberg) подтвердил, что пользователям Windows 10 не придётся платить за поддержку кросс-платформерной игры с обладателями Xbox One. Для того чтобы пользоваться всеми возможностями Xbox Live на РС, достаточно просто зайти в свой аккаунт в сервисе Xbox Live. Никакой дополнительной платы.

В своё время Microsoft пыталась заставить пользователей РС платить за аналогичную возможность, когда запускала ныне печально известный сервис Games for Windows Live.

 

Ранее Microsoft заявила, что программа Play Anywhere не требует подписки на платный сервис Xbox Live Gold.
