В PlayStation Blog один из читателей задал PR-менеджеру Atlus Джону Хардину (John Hardin) вопрос о том, не планирует ли компания заняться разработкой продолжения оригинальной игры Demon's Souls для PlayStation 4.

«Уверен на 100% в том, что мы не увидим Demon's Souls, - заявил он. - Решение за Sony, но, судя по той информации, которую я слышал, Demon's Souls - это большой гордиев узел».

Чуть позже он добавил следующее: «Конечно, так как права на интеллектуальную собственность Demon's Souls находятся у Sony, чисто теоретически Demon's Souls  2 не является чем-то невозможным, однако я бы не хотел, чтобы поклонники возлагали на это надежды».
